LEGAL / WEBSITE USE
Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 23 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the Job One Recruitment website or send us a recruitment enquiry. They do not replace a separate written agreement between us and an employer.
1. About this website
This website is operated by WISEMARS PTY LTD (ABN 98 699 059 026, ACN 699 059 026) using the name Job One Recruitment (“Job One”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Our recruitment focus
Job One provides recruitment services focused on permanent chef and carpenter positions across Australia. We work with employers throughout Australia and may receive enquiries from candidates located in Australia or overseas.
The website does not currently publish individual vacancies. A candidate’s email or CV is treated as a general expression of interest unless we clearly identify a particular position.
3. No guarantee of an outcome
Registering, sending a CV, speaking with us or being introduced to an employer does not guarantee an interview, placement, employment offer, visa, employer sponsorship, salary level or start date. Recruitment decisions are made by employers, and any employment is subject to the employer’s offer and employment terms.
Information on this website is general information only. It is not employment, legal, immigration, tax or financial advice.
4. No job-seeker placement fee
Job One Recruitment does not charge job seekers a fee for finding employment.
We may charge employers under a separate recruitment services agreement. A candidate will not be required to buy another product or service as a condition of being considered for a recruitment opportunity.
5. Candidates’ responsibilities
If you contact us as a candidate, you agree to:
- provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading;
- tell us if material information changes, including availability or work rights;
- provide documents or referee details only where you are entitled to do so;
- not send passports, banking details or identity documents unless we specifically request them through an appropriate process; and
- make your own decision about any employer and employment offer.
You retain ownership of your CV and materials. You give us permission to use them to provide the recruitment services described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Employers’ responsibilities
If you contact us as an employer, you are responsible for providing accurate information about the role, duties, location, remuneration, hours, workplace conditions, required qualifications and any sponsorship position. You must comply with employment, workplace, safety, anti-discrimination, immigration and other applicable laws.
Before we begin an employer recruitment assignment, fees, replacement terms, candidate ownership and other commercial matters should be set out in a separate recruitment services agreement. These website terms do not create an exclusive recruitment engagement.
7. Employer sponsorship and migration services
Some employers may consider candidates who require sponsorship, but sponsorship is not available for every opportunity and is never guaranteed. Any statement about possible sponsorship is subject to the employer’s decision, eligibility requirements and Australian law.
Job One provides recruitment services only. We do not provide immigration assistance through this website. If immigration assistance is required, it must be provided under a separate agreement by an appropriately registered or otherwise authorised migration professional. Any such provider is independent of Job One Recruitment, and its services, advice, fees and outcomes are separate from our recruitment services.
8. Equal opportunity and ethical recruitment
We aim to assess candidates using role-related skills, experience, qualifications, availability and lawful job requirements. We do not support unlawful discrimination, misleading job information, worker exploitation or requests that breach Australian workplace laws.
An employer remains responsible for its own recruitment decision, workplace practices and legal compliance.
9. Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care with website information but do not promise that every item is complete, current or error-free. Recruitment needs can change or be withdrawn without notice. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the website.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape the website in a way that disrupts it, impersonate another person or use the website for an unlawful purpose.
10. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, we own or license the website content, branding, layout and materials. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business use. You must not reproduce, publish, sell or commercially exploit substantial website content without our prior written permission.
11. Third-party services and links
The website may link to third-party websites or services. Those parties control their own content, terms and privacy practices. A link or referral does not mean we guarantee or accept responsibility for a third party’s services or outcomes.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website, reliance on general website information, an employer’s hiring decision, a candidate’s decision, a third-party service or events outside our reasonable control.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including candidate information. Please read it before sending us personal information.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be posted here with its last-updated date. Continued use of the website after an update means the updated terms apply to that use.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales and relevant Commonwealth courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
